Inside, you’ll find two large rooms with music offerings and memorabilia stretched from floor to ceiling. Vinyl record albums are meticulously organized on tables and walls. Original items worn by the likes of Joey Ramone and Sid Vicious & Nancy Spungen of Sex Pistol fame, hang from the ceiling. “There’s really nothing like us around here” says owner Todd Radict, who fell into the punk scene in NYC at age 18 and played gigs for several years, making acquaintance with some of the titans in the punk world. Skele-Tone has a great selection of vinyl records, everything from rock, country, jazz, punk, classical, metal, reggae, soul, folk, hip-hop and other genres. They also have a basement stocked with thousands of LP’s and 45’s at deeply discounted prices. They carry 8-Tracks, cassettes, CD’s, VHS, DVDs, music memorabilia, band tees, pin-up clothing, posters and more. They also carry vintage turn-tables and other stereo equipment. Skele-Tone is beloved in the community and the staff treats you like family, always accommodative and friendly. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, they’ll find a way to track it down for you!
