The mission of the Aquarium of Niagara is to broaden the public’s awareness of aquatic ecosystems through innovative and stimulating exhibits, displays, and educational and recreational programs that promote conservation and support research.

 

Penguin Feeding Presentation:

Stop by our colony of Humboldt penguins during their scheduled feeding time and learn more about these flightless birds. Join one of our Aquarists to learn more about their unique personalities, husbandry care at the Aquarium, and conservation efforts to protect penguin populations in the wild.

Rescue Harbor Seal Presentation:

Meet the Aquarium’s harbor seals and grey seals and learn about rescue, rehabilitation, and release efforts that promote the conservation of marine wildlife.

Meet the Expert at the Discovery Cart:

Want to see a real penguin egg or feel how soft their feathers are? How about looking at a jellyfish under a microscope? This is your chance to have a hands-on encounter with some of the aquarium’s many artifacts! From turtle shells to shark teeth the expert will share something they know you’ll find fascinating.

Sea Lion Show:

Embark on a special look at an amazing species, the California sea lion. Our trainers share the success stories of our rescued marine mammals as well as insight on this incredible species. This unique presentation demonstrates our true commitment for our beautiful family of marine mammals.
