Marine Discovery Center (MDC)
Explore North America's most biologically diverse estuary, Indian River Lagoon, with Marine Discovery Center! Daily Boat and Kayak Eco-Tours give guests a Hands-On, Feet-Wet understanding of the natural beauty surrounding our saltmarshes and spoil islands. These two hour nature excursions are guided by a certified Florida Master Naturalist.
In addition to water adventures, MDC hosts free monthly conservation talks, interactive activities and educational exhibits on site at their facility. Hike MDC's grounds and nature trails to learn about the extensive oyster bed and shoreline restoration work being done in the lagoon.
