For accommodations with a view, head to The Grand Canyon Lodge in North Rim, Arizona. Here, you’ll enjoy fewer crowds (as this is the side of the Canyon that typically gets less visitation) and rustic, log cabin-style accommodations. Make sure to try the on-site dining. 2. Maswik Lodge

In Grand Canyon Village, Maswik Lodge offers historic appeal, but a recent update brings things into the modern era. The lodge was originally a motor lodge for road-tripping travelers in the 1920s, with cabins that were eventually replaced by the hotel rooms you see today. In the current, forest-set, 300-room lodge, you’ll find multiple dining options and the property is close enough to the Canyon that you can walk there, or take a short and convenient bus ride.

3. The Grand Hotel

For less of a lodge experience and more of a traditional hotel vibe, go with The Grand Hotel. Also in Grand Canyon Village, this property does still use some of that classic, Southwest lodge theme-ing throughout, but the rooms are all contemporary, with luxurious amenities available to guests that include an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, EV charging and more.

4. Under Canvas Grand Canyon

Under Canvas Grand Canyon has been named one of the best resorts not just around The Grand Canyon, but actually throughout all of Arizona. It’s also one of the best places to stay in the area if you truly want something unique.
