 “We had retired to Cape Coral in late 2019. On a return trip to our previous home in Maryland that summer, we kept finding Discovery Maps at every location while on a boat trip to the southern Chesapeake Bay. We absolutely loved them, and it got our wheels turning,” said Kurt. “We were not ready to settle down to complete retirement, so we called Discovery Map and asked if they had a map in our area in Florida. They didn’t. We jumped on the opportunity to start a map down here and are very excited to publish these great maps in our area. We love living in southwest Florida and are very excited to share all that there is to do and see in this region. There is a little bit of something for everyone here along with great restaurants, beautiful beaches and a ton of different things to do and fun experiences." After having been a Commercial pilot for 31 years, Kurt loves maps and loves the fact he gets to promote the area he always enjoyed on overnights when working for the airlines.  Kurt & Melissa are coming up on 10 years of being happily married and enjoy the challenge of starting their 2^nd business together from scratch and being able to spend all their time together.”
