The World Museum of Mining
Live the mining & cultural history of Butte during the turn of the century. Located on an actual mine yard, we offer 50 primary exhibit buildings, countless artifacts & an underground mine tour that takes you into the depths of the Orphan Girl mine. A Miners' Memorial Wall honors over 2,500 men killed in mining related accidents. It is recommended to purchase tickets on-line.
