Our New Website is Here!

The day is finally here for us to reveal our new website design! Besides a more modern and simplified design, major differences include:

-Improved and more user-friendly layout
-New eye-catching destination header images
-Modernized fonts and colors that are closer to the map aesthetic
-State and country landing page

While we are still working through some minor adjustments, we are so happy to share this new chapter for the Discovery Map website!

The MapGeek

Along with the website update, we have news about our beloved Map Geek.

While she has been hard at work over the years as the Discovery Map mascot and voice of the Map Geek blog, she is ready to move on to her next big adventure, cartography school!

She will still come back to host the Mapgeek contest and a few other special events, but wish her the best of luck with her next adventures! Don’t worry, the Discovery Map team will still be publishing helpful, relevant travel content for all our destinations.

New State and Landing Pages

Part of the new website design includes brand new country and state pages. Navigate to the "Destination" tab in the top navigation bar and check out the Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and US pages.
