Have you ever wondered what it is like to live in a lush Hawaiian rainforest? Have you ever walked along a well-maintained rainforest trail? Have you ever soaked yourself in a hot tub in the middle of the rainforest to unwind after your long day? This is your chance! Not only can you walk through the rainforest, you can also enjoy the lovely view from your room.

Get yourself a room with Volcano Inn for an excellent home base while you tour around the Big Island of Hawaii. Many people who plan a day trip out to the Volcanoes National Park don’t realize that it takes 5+ hours to drive back and forth between Kona or Waikoloa to the Volcanoes National Park. Save yourself from hassle and exhaustion of driving by staying near the Volcanoes Park for a few nights to explore the Park and the east side of the island.

Our hostess begins working at around 5:30 am every morning to bring you freshly baked homemade banana bread. Coffee is ready at around 6:00 am and is available all day in the common area. From 7:00 am until 9:00 am we invite you to join us at the main house for loaded papaya bowls, banana bread as well as other juicy seasonal fruits.

We can accommodate tour groups, wedding parties, family reunions, clubs or any kind of large groups with our array of rooms. We are right off of Highway 11 and centrally located to everything you want to see in the area. In our large common room area, your entire group can enjoy breakfast in a beautiful rain forest setting.

We are centrally located close to everything you want to see and do. Spend your days adventuring around the island and your evenings relaxing in our saltwater hot tubs, tucked away in the beautiful surrounding rain forest. Located in Volcano Village on Hawaii’s Big Island, Volcano Inn is less than 5 minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Nestled in a tropical ʻŌhiʻa and Hāpuʻu fern forest, Volcano Inn is famous for its picturesque beauty and tranquility.
