Rocky Dale Gardens is a small independently owned retail plant nursery and display garden founded in 1981. We are nestled in the rock ledges at the base of South Mountain where the New Haven River winds its way down from Lincoln and turns toward the village of Bristol. We’re about 25 miles south of Burlington and located in the western foothills of the Green Mountains.

The nursery and gardens are situated around our barn and 1856 farmhouse that is our home. In that respect, all customers are guests and all staff, family; it’s an intimate situation where work meets pleasure.

We pride ourselves on offering expert horticultural advice, unique landscape and garden design, and high quality, hard to find plant material. We thoroughly enjoy meeting the evolving needs and concerns of our gardening friends and clients, whether here at the nursery or out on the road!
