Hello, we are Ashley and Greyson of Hermit Thrush Fiber Co, we are thrilled to be joining the amazing Bristol community!

As longtime fiber lovers, we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place for us. Ashley first learned how to crochet from her dad in elementary school, and years later we taught ourselves how to knit while snowed into our tiny apartment in Portland, Maine. We’ve been hooked ever since.

We grew up in different parts of the country (Wisconsin and New Hampshire), but we met and fell in love working for an outdoor education program in Massachusetts. 9 years later we have lived and traveled all over the country, gotten engaged, moved into a tiny house on wheels, and adopted the world’s best cat, Dudley.
